Our Ministries (a-e)

This ministry provides an opportunity for our members to participate in short-term mission trips around the world.

We want to help with spreading God's word through construction of urgently needed buildings, medical missions and evangelism throughout the world and through this process we help build our church members. We build ourselves spiritually by helping others and providing an opportunity to see Christ's love in action.

Volunteers must be able to travel internationally, have a willingness to serve in whatever capacity needed and ability for physical labor (for construction), an ability to work in the medical field (for the medical mission) and ability to preach, teach and work with kids (evangelism and children's ministry). Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required. Construction experience is NOT necessary.

If you feel that God is calling you to be part of the ministry, you will be forever changed!

We conduct a mission trip each year. We have traveled across the world to numerous countries, including the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Mozambique. We have constructed churches, schools, medical buildings and bakeries on past trips. We have typically also conducted medical and dental clinics in the construction locations. If we have the resources and the leadership, we also conduct vacation bible schools and evangelistic meetings.

We typically partner with Maranatha Volunteers International for our trips. Maranatha Volunteers International is a group dedicated to building structures for those in need and coordinates the building supplies and other logistics associated with the building. Our volunteers supply the labor and pay for some of the construction costs.

Our trips typically last for 7-10 days. The trips normally include six days of construction, worship in the completed structure and then an excursion to somewhere in the country for some rest and relaxation. Costs for the trip will vary from year to year and are tax deductible.
